Kilsyth lies in North Lanarkshire almost half way between Glasgow and Stilring.  It is easily commutable by road within easy reach of the M80 motorway.  Croy train station is 5 minutes away with regular trains to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh.
Kilsyth is well served with several local medical centres, dentists and a variety of local shops.  Nearby Cumbernauld also hosts a large number of retail shops, including several large retail shopping centres – The Centre, Cumbernauld adn The Antonine, Cumbernauld.

Kilsyth is the most northerly town in Lanarkshire, nestling in the scenic countryside at the foot of the Kilsyth Hills. The town is home to the picturesque Burngreen Park, historic Colzium House, Auchinstarry on the Forth & Clyde Canal, and the Antonine Wall.
Kilsyth has a lot to offer residents. As well as the Antonine Wall and Colzium House Estate there are numerous walking, cycling, and equestrian trails, angling in the many rivers, canals and lochs in the area, and canoeing and cruises on the Forth & Clyde Canal.

And for the more adventurous the exciting mountain bike trails in the nearby Carron Valley or rock climbing at Auchinstarry are always an option.
